Ballincollig Appoint Hayes As Women’s Head Coach – Irish Rugby


Former Eire worldwide Fiona Hayes has been appointed head coach of the Ballincollig Energia Ladies’s AIL staff.

Hayes joins Ballincollig after a profitable tenure as Ladies’s Head Coach with UL Bohemian. She can be head coach of the Munster U18 women.

Talking concerning the appointment Ballincolig Director of Rugby, Denis Stevenson, commented, “We’re delighted to have Fiona be a part of us in Ballincollig as we glance to construct our girls’s programme and develop a centre of excellence. Having Fiona on board is a big assertion for Cork rugby as we construct a pathway for aspiring gamers. Fiona’s experience and data of the ladies’s sport and the sport as a complete will solely improve this ambition going ahead.”

Hayes’ appointment comes on the heels of the announcement of former membership, provincial and Eire staff mate Niamh Briggs as her substitute at UL Bohs earlier this week.
