Cities and counties are getting their swimming pools summer-ready, as many put together to open up over Memorial Day weekend.

“Each of our amenities are opening this summer time, which is a large distinction from final 12 months.” Sean Keenan, Metropolis of Shawnee Aquatics Program Supervisor stated.

The Metropolis of Shawnee is getting ready its two public swimming pools to open on Saturday. However, they’ve hit a snag.

“Usually we rent 150 people to run them. Once more, we often get an enormous inflow of purposes beginning in January.
