Time Limits for Participation in Q1 and Q2:

Riders who will take part in Q1 and Q2 are decided by the mixed instances of the Free Apply periods. Due to infringements such, as exceeding monitor limits, it’s typically troublesome to finalise the outcomes after FP3 as a result of infringements could be found by Race Course or reported to the MotoGP™ Stewards. This could result in groups having inadequate time to arrange machines for Q1 or Q2.

In future, mixed outcomes of the free apply periods will likely be finalised 60 minutes after the tip of FP3. Equally, the outcomes of Q1 will likely be finalised 5 minutes after the tip of that session. Any infringements which may alter the outcomes, found after this time, wouldn’t be actioned and won’t be topic to protest or enchantment.
