Massachusetts names former hockey ops assistant Trachtenberg new director of hockey operations



Massachusetts hockey has introduced the addition of Steve Trachtenberg because the workforce’s director of hockey operations.

Trachtenberg, a 2018 UMass graduate, beforehand served as a hockey operations assistant for the Minutemen whereas working in direction of his sport administration diploma.

“We’re excited to call Steve Trachtenberg as our new director of hockey operations,” stated UMass coach Greg Carvel in an announcement. “Steve has labored intently with our program previously as an undergraduate so we’re absolutely conscious of the dedication and a spotlight to element that he’ll convey to our program. As an undergraduate, Trachtenberg labored as a member of the UMass hockey tools workers and supported the director of hockey operations with video and hockey analytics for teaching workers and NHL groups. He additionally served as a company sponsorship intern with the Philadelphia Flyers in the summertime of 2018 and was a ticket and followers providers intern with the Philadelphia Eagles from 2016 to 2018.
