Boston University associate women’s hockey coach Keady Norton named new head coach at Dartmouth

Dartmouth has introduced that Liz Keady Norton has been named head coach of the ladies’s hockey group.

She is the Large Inexperienced’s eleventh head coach in this system’s 44-year historical past and sixth within the final 35 years.

“Liz brings distinctive expertise to Dartmouth girls’s hockey,” Dartmouth interim director of athletics Peter Roby mentioned in a press release. “She was a profitable pupil and athlete whereas attending Princeton, so she appreciates and believes within the Ivy mannequin. No stranger to ECAC Hockey, Keady Norton spent one season as an assistant at Union (2014-15) and two years at Harvard (2015-17) earlier than making her approach to BU.

Keady Norton graduated from Princeton in 2008 with a level in psychology. A local of Braintree, Mass., she ended her profession with 79 factors on 38 objectives and 41 assists in 118 video games. Named group captain for the 2007-08 season, she led the group in plus/minus (plus-15) in 2004-05, short-handed objectives in 2006-07 and recreation successful objectives in 2007-08.
