WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – William & Mary males’s tennis garnered regional rankings within the ultimate 2020-21 requirements launched by the Intercollegiate Tennis Affiliation.
As a staff, the Tribe was ranked No. 7 within the Atlantic Area, its highest regional rating since 2014. Graduate pupil Lev Kazakov was ranked No. 17 within the regional singles rankings, whereas graduate pupil Brenden Volk and sophomore George Davis had been ranked No. 9 within the Atlantic Area doubles rankings.
W&M earned its highest finish of the 12 months nationwide rating since 2007 at No. 59. The Tribe received seven of its ultimate 9 matches, superior to the CAA Championship match and ended the 12 months at 9-6 general. Kazakov, who joined the Tribe as a graduate switch this season after a robust profession at Cornell, earned All-CAA First Staff honors in singles. Davis and Volk earned All-CAA First Staff honors and completed the 12 months, profitable 5 of their ultimate six matches, together with victories within the CAA Semifinals and Championship on the high spot.
