The Arizona Coyotes have signed Jay Varady to a three-year contract to function head coach of the Tucson Roadrunners, the Coyotes’ American Hockey League affiliate.
Varady spent the 2020-21 season with the Coyotes as a part of the crew’s NHL teaching employees. He beforehand served as the top coach of the Roadrunners for 2 seasons (2018-19 and 2019-20). Varady spent two seasons as Tucson’s head coach, guiding the membership to a document of 70-45-6-5. The Roadrunners received the Pacific Division title in 2019-20, and Varady coached within the 2020 AHL All-Star Traditional.
“I’m very excited to be again within the Metropolis of Tucson and dealing with our nice gamers and employees,” stated Varady. “We will likely be dedicated to profitable hockey video games and creating Coyotes prospects and I’m wanting ahead to having our large followers again in TCC to supply us with an unimaginable house ice benefit.”
