IMRRC Taps St. James for Argetsinger Award

Watkins Glen, NY – The Worldwide Motor Racing Analysis Heart will honor motorsports pioneer Lyn St. James because the seventh recipient of its highest honor, the Cameron R. Argetsinger Award for Excellent Contributions to Motorsports.

After a hiatus in 2020, the award shall be offered at a Sept. 11 occasion on the Jack Daniel’s Membership at Watkins Glen Worldwide. Broadcast journalist Bob Varsha will emcee the ceremony.

Established to honor an individual within the motorsports business who’s acknowledged universally for having superior and improved the game, the award memorializes Cameron R. Argetsinger, sometimes called the daddy of American street racing.

Earlier awardees embody Chip Ganassi, Richard Petty, Roger Penske, Mario Andretti, Jim France and the France household, and Bobby Rahal.

The Worldwide Motor Racing Analysis Heart is a 501(c)(3) non-profit group whose mission is to gather, protect and share the historical past of worldwide motorsports.
