New Hampshire junior ahead Angus Crookshank has signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the NHL’s Ottawa Senators, giving up his senior season with the Wildcats.

In the course of 2020-21, Crookshank has signed an novice tryout settlement and can report back to the AHL’s Belleville Senators following a required quarantine interval.

Crookshank was chosen by Ottawa within the fifth spherical (126th general) within the 2018 NHL Draft.

“On behalf of UNH hockey, I need to congratulate Angus,” stated New Hampshire coach Mike Souza in a press release. “The Senators are getting a participant that has an unmatched want to be an NHL participant. Angus has been an incredible ambassador each on and off the ice right here at UNH and we’re excited to have performed an element in his improvement.”

Crookshank posted 35 targets and 28 assists for 63 factors over 90 profession video games at UNH, together with 9 targets and 18 factors in 20 video games throughout the 2020-21 season.
