Former Jets star large receiver Keyshawn Johnson stated Monday that his oldest daughter, Maia, had died.
She was 25.
Johnson, a soccer analyst and morning radio host for ESPN, didn’t reveal the reason for dying.
“Maia, as my first born youngster, has been the enjoyment of my, and her Mom Shikiri’s, life,” the 48-year-old Johnson wrote on Twitter. “She got here into our lives simply as we had been each coming of age as adults and has been a relentless beloved presence for each of us. We’re heartbroken and devastated by her loss.”
Johnson and Shikiri Hightower had been married from 1998 to 2002. Additionally they have a son, Keyshawn Johnson Jr., who’s 22 years outdated.
