White Sox place star SS Tim Anderson on 10-day IL with hamstring pressure


The Chicago White Sox introduced Wednesday that they positioned shortstop Tim Anderson on the 10-day injured checklist with a strained left hamstring.

The transfer comes after Anderson left within the first inning of Sunday’s loss to the Los Angeles Angels. He strained his left leg whereas operating out a floor ball.

The 27-year-old is slashing .200/.200/.400 with one dwelling run and one RBI on three hits in 4 video games this season. 

Anderson gained the batting title in 2019 and a Silver Slugger in 2020. He additionally completed seventh in MVP voting final season after slashing .322/.357/.529 with 10 dwelling runs and 21 RBI.
