Re “A G.O.P. Authorized Ace Rebuts Trump’s Case” (information article, Feb. 8) and “High Attorneys Name Trump’s Impeachment Protection ‘Legally Frivolous’” (information article, Feb. 6):
Charles Cooper, a revered conservative constitutional lawyer, has written that “it defies logic to recommend that the Senate is prohibited from making an attempt and convicting former officeholders.” As well as, 144 constitutional students and attorneys from each political events — with much more experience on the U.S. Structure than sitting Republican senators — have declared Mr. Trump’s claims about First Modification protections “legally frivolous.”
Most of us noticed and heard and gasped at what occurred on Jan. 6. We all know how the previous president reacted. A very powerful query of the impeachment proceedings should be: Ought to Donald Trump be barred from holding workplace on this nation once more? In that case, senators, do your obligation.

Re “Brady Leaves No Doubt He Can Win Wherever” (SportsMonday, Feb. 8):
What number of superlatives are there to explain the seven-time Tremendous Bowl winner Tom Brady? Champion of champs? Sure. Better of the very best? In fact. Best quarterback ever? Works for me.
It doesn’t matter what you name Brady, that is for positive: It’s time to provide him the keys to the N.F.L. Corridor of Fame now. Why wait till he retires?
