Jaron Ennis was at it once more on Saturday in Uncasville, Conn.
The gifted welterweight contender pounded Sergey Lipinets for five-plus rounds earlier than placing him away with a right-left mixture within the sixth spherical within the WBA title eliminator.
Ennis (27-0, 25 KOs) has now stopped his final 17 opponents, not counting a no-contest in his earlier battle. That’s a sign of his punching energy.
Now it’s on to the large names at 147 kilos, together with titleholders Errol Spence Jr., Terence Crawford, Yordenis Ugas and Manny Pacquiao (in recess).
Will Ennis do to them what he did to Lipinets? Keep tuned.
Right here’s the knockout on Saturday.
