2x NCAA D2 All-American Raphael Paiva Transfers from Carson-Newman to TCU


Sao Paulo, Brazil native Raphael Paiva has introduced his intention to switch to Texas Christian College for his last two years of NCAA eligibility, starting within the fall of 2021.

Paiva will switch from NCAA Division II’s Carson Newman, whom he joined mid-season within the 2019-20 college yr. His first meet for the Eagles was a tri-meet with Savannah Faculty of Artwork and Design and Emmanuel Faculty in February 2020. He took second within the 100 free (45.85) and third within the 200 free (1:40.97) in his debut.
